First watch logo small“When our founders opened the original First Watch in Pacific Grove, Ca., in 1983, their dream of creating a daytime-only gathering place that specialized in fresh, made-to-order Breakfast, Brunch and Lunch became a reality. The restaurant quickly became a neighborhood favorite, and word spread about the fresh concept and creative menu.

It’s now more than 30 years later, and although we have more than 130 First Watch restaurants in 17 states, not much else has changed. The restaurant still opens from 7 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. daily, and you’ll still find us in the kitchen at the crack of dawn slicing fresh fruits and vegetables, baking muffins and granola and whipping up French toast batter from scratch – still without the use of microwaves, heat lamps or deep fryers.

At First Watch, we’re known for our “You First” philosophy and commitment to doing whatever it takes to make each guest’s visit memorable. First Watch kitchens use only the finest, freshest ingredients that allow guests to enjoy their favorites without guilt. Some of our premium ingredients include cage-free eggs, freshly sliced fruit, fresh vegetables roasted daily in-house and Stonyfield Farms organic yogurt. Our First Watch culinary team is dedicated to researching the latest culinary trends and creating signature, crave-able dishes that are made-to-order, ensuring that guests of all tastes find their new favorite dish.
