See if GNM is right for you
Are you a sustainable food producer or environmentally-friendly packaging manufacturer? Do you need highly efficient broker sales representation to penetrate your channel? If so, Green Nature Marketing offers everything it takes to succeed.
GNM is committed to representing brands with a legitimate sustainable product platform. And because of this, our go-to-market approach is unlike that of conventional broker organizations that are focused on conventional (commodity) products. We are about sustainable foodservice. Exclusively. No other organization offers a focused, single-broker approach on a national scale.
GNM brings added value to your brands. Here’s how:
- Better efficiencies through a single-broker approach
- Unmatched national presence and reach
- Years of experience and established relationships within the foodservice industry
- Understanding of the supply chain and the significant role it plays in getting products to operators
- Commitment to resources and technology to integrate our company and deliver results
Having the proper “green credentials” is essential. There are many green certification agencies in the marketplace, and each has different criteria and objectives. GNM favors and supports those that we deem to be more widely accepted and applicable. We are proud to represent products that bear the certifications listed below.
USDA Organic
The National Organic Program (NOP) develops, implements, and administers national production, handling, and labeling standards for organic agricultural products. The NOP also accredits the certifying agents (foreign and domestic) who inspect organic production and handling operations to certify that they meet USDA standards.
NON GMO Project Verified Certification
The Non GMO Project Verified label assures the consumer that food items have not been contaminated with genetically modified organisms. The Non-GMO project is a non-profit organization committed to preserving and building sources of non-GMO products, educating consumers, and providing verified non-GMO choices.
Fair Trade Certified
Fair trade certification is a product certification system designed to allow people to identify products that meet agreed environmental, labor and developmental standards. The certification is overseen by a standard-setting body, Fair trade International (FLO), and a certification body, FLO-CERT. The system involves independent auditing of producers to ensure the agreed standards are met.
Gluten Free
A gluten-free diet is a diet that excludes foods containing the protein gluten. Gluten is a protein found in grains such as wheat, rye and malts. A gluten-free diet is used as a treatment for celiac disease. The Gluten-Free Certification Organization (GFCO) is a program of The Gluten Intolerance Group®, also known as GIG®, and is a 501(c3) non-profit organization. Green Nature Marketing is proud to offer a variety of gluten-free certified foods.
Vegan Certified
The Logo is a registered trademark, similar in nature to the “kosher” mark, for products that do not contain animal products and that have not been tested on animals. The Logo is easily visible to consumers interested in vegan products and helps vegans to shop without constantly consulting ingredient lists; it helps companies recognize a growing vegan market; and it helps bring the word “vegan” – and the lifestyle it represents – into the mainstream.
Biodegradable Products Institute (BPI)
The Biodegradable Products Institute is a multi-stakeholder association of key individuals and groups from government, industry and academia, which promotes the use, and recycling of biodegradable polymeric materials (via composting). The BPI is open to any materials and products that demonstrate that they meet the requirements in ASTM D 6400 or D6868, based on testing in a approved laboratory.
USDA Biobased Product Certification
The USDA Certified Biobased Product label assures the consumer that a product or package contains a verified amount of renewable biological ingredients. A product must meet or exceed the minimum biobased content percentage in its given category in order to use the Certified Biobased Product label. Biobased products are goods composed in whole or in significant part of agricultural, forestry, or marine materials.
