The Abbot’s Butcher Story

Abbot’s Butcher was born out of a deep desire to live more authentically, and the belief that by building a more meaningful connection with our food, we are also building a more powerful relationship with our bodies and the world.

The name Abbot’s Butcher came from the street Abbot Kinney, in Venice, California. It’s where founder Kerry Song was living when she started this journey. And Abbot Kinney himself was a 19th century conservationist, whose own life is a testament to the importance of growth, change and self-reflection.
