The Peeled Snacks, Inc. Story
Founded in 2004 on the idea of creating healthy options for on-the-go snacking, Peeled Snacks has become a pioneer in healthy snacking options. We started out in the convenience channel and have had a presence in the grocery market since 2011. Also in 2011, we became a certified B Corporation and have been certified since! It all began with gently dried fruits and we are looking to continue to expand. With a fresh new look, we continue to outperform our categories and launch innovative new products.
Farming
We work with suppliers who practice sustainable farming and biodiversity. Our suppliers work with rural farming communities to responsibly produce products while providing support and education to strengthen long term relationships.
Waste Reduction
For our organic gently dried apples, we gather the excess of “ugly” fruit and transform them into our delicious products for everyone to enjoy while keeping the size of landfills down!
Freight
In 2019 we reduced our annual freight by 138,624 miles which is the same as going around the planet 5 ½ times! We constantly look for ways to improve our relationship with the planet.
